Here there was no difference between the control group and the experimental in preventing injury.  It all starts with physical competency and good planned performance training by the coach.

Joe,
I didn't read the article yet but I know from experience that the majority of foot injuries that I saw was a result of their boots and not running shoes. I will take a gander at the article once I get a chance.

ON another topic I felt needed to be shared... Went to a Dr. appointment with one of our VB players. She requested I go with her. The ortho said, and I quote, "It's not possible for her to have a rotator cuff tear because she is only 18 years old." I wish I was making this up!!
